Chris Harrison recently told E News that the latest installment of ABC’s The Bachelor Pad, 2 makes the first season appear to be child’s play: “It’s like the kiddie pool; it’s like child’s play…We joked that we needed three hours for the first episode, and it’s become a reality.” I wonder what the the viewers think that watched last year compared to this year? Ask me, I am one of them. Honestly, the quality of last year’s show truly beats out the low silly antics on this season. But obviously, ABC knows what they are doing with a sizable rating increase since last year’s Bachelor Pad made it’s debut.
As for last night’s show, kudos to Gia for leaving and basically getting out of their before Camp Vienna trashed her. That boyfriend (I am not once going to mention his name because he definitely does not deserve the press and I find him rather repulsive) of Vienna’s is truly a bit too confident in his ways. The only sense of reprieve I feel is knowing based on Reality Steve’s Spoilers on Bachelor Pad 2 is he and Vienna do not make it to the final two couples!

Who do I like? Ella, Jake, Gia, and the masked man. But for now, lets discuss Ella. I get the whole “I’m-single-mom-I-need-the-money-thing,” but life will work out fine for you even without winning this silly show, Ella. Your apartment looked quite lovely. And, while a large house would be nice, ultimately you have to make the payments and I don’t think $250,000 will buy much of anything these days, except then again, I forget what state Ella lives in…? She doesn’t live in California, so well maybe it does, anyway. Just want to send the word out to Ella, when you are voted off, I hope you didn’t become depressed or anything because one thing is sure just like a good ol’ cliché “Money Cannot Buy You happiness.” Pleasure, fun, trips, leisure, but you know the rest? Well, just keep being a great mom and I’m sure life will continue nicely for you….Meanwhile, you had an awesome time with some fun quirky backstabbing individuals (not all of them) in Hollywood.
Now, Gia! Yes, Way to leave, prance off and let those boys feel a tinge bit guilty about their cruel antics, especially tattoo boy that doesn’t even deserve a name being mentioned! Just remember, You are a swimsuit Model! Who cares what those idiots think. Good for you for leaving when you did. You rock.
Jake? Wow, I really wish Jake would make it further to the end because I just love watching Vienna freak out. I don’t buy one mean thing she has said about this guy and think she was playing him the whole time. Glad to see Jake get some satisfaction out of getting stay for at least one more week. I am sort of hoping to see him be the next Bachelor again. You never know after Brad Womak making it twice for the appearance.
The rest? Well, what do you want me to tell you? I am impressed with Michelle M. staying on the sidelines and out of trouble. What a difference from this year’s ”The Bachelor.” And, other than that, I just truly liked the first season better. I thought that cast was stellar, classier and more fun to watch because they weren’t so damned mean spirited.

My favorite part is the masked man raiding the kitchen, while the others sleep. Nice touch ABC.
I hate to say it, but $125,000 (the odds are they will be splitting it, if they even win it…yes, there is a catch!) there won’t be much after taxes. Especially in California. Natalie and Dave! Loved them. Great job on winning last year (although I loved Tenley and Kiptyn, too).
